Vinyl Cutting at The Service Bureau

The Service Bureau currently uses a Graphtec FC8000-100 vinyl cutter for professional-quality vinyl cutting:

All files must be supplied as Illustrator files with the text converted to outlines. In addition, all designs must be closed vector paths with no overlapping paths. Our vinyl cutting system uses the actual vector line as the cut path. If type or graphics overlap, the blade of the cutter will follow the path and produce undesirable results.

Cleanup: If your graphic has internal vector lines and you choose to have us clean them up instead of doing it yourself, we will do so for a fee. We will also show you how to do it yourself for free.		$10

Normal turnaround time is 48 hours for cutting + 24 hours for weeding (can be done by customer) + 24 hours for taping (can be done by customer). This means that for standard turnaround full service, the price would be $4 (cut) + $3 (weed) per square foot, and would take 96 hours. If you want to do your own weeding and taping, the price would only be $4 (cut) per square foot, and would take 48 hours. We will show you how to weed and tape if you want to do it yourself. It's easy and will save you time and money.

Rush service is available at a 100% charge. That means that you would pay $8/sq foot for the cut to happen in 24 hours, and then if you wanted Bureau staff to weed and tape, you'd pay another $6/sq foot. The total turnaround time would be 48 hours (max).
