If you have the SAIC laptop template, you already have CS6 installed on your laptop.
If you don’t have the template, you can download the installer directly from Adobe by going to http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html
Make sure to download the CS6 Master Collection:
Use this link for installing CS6 on either a Mac or a PC.
Within PeopleSoft Self-Service, there is a link in the left-hand column called “Software Redemp Codes/Serial #”. Click on this link to see your assigned Mac and PC serial numbers.
Copy your serial number by highlighting it and selecting “Copy” from the Edit menu (command+C on a Mac or ctrl+C on a PC).
If you are using a Mac, look for the serial number next to "Adobe CS6.0 MC Serial MAC."
If you are using a PC, look for "Adobe CS6.0 MC Serial WIN."
When you launch a CS6 application you should see a window letting you know how many days you have remaining in your trial. Click the button that says “License This Software.”
You will be asked to sign in using the Adobe ID you created to start the trial. Click “Sign In.” You will need to be connected to the Internet when doing this step.
After you sign in, you will be asked to enter your serial number. Enter the serial number and click “Next.”
Your software is now licensed.
Download the installer assistant http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html. When you run the installer assistant, you will need to create an Adobe ID to proceed. Please use your @saic.edu email address when creating your Adobe ID.
The installer assistant will then download the software. This could take a considerable amount of time.
After the download completes, the installation process should begin automatically. When you see the “Welcome” screen, select the option that says “Install - I have a serial number.”
Next, click to accept the Adobe Software License Agreement.
Then enter your serial number and click next. The software will then complete the installation process.
